Much of what we hear these days in the media about income equality concerns men. Claudia Olivetti, Professor of Economics at Boston College, talks about her research on women in the labor forces of rich countries, and how differing government policies in areas like family leave affect the employment of women, their earnings, and even their fertility. Professor Olivetti brings deep historical knowledge to the discussion of this very timely issue. Light hors d’oeuvres and beverages at 5:30 p.m.; program at 6 p.m.  King’s Chapel Parish House, 64 Beacon Street. BHV/BHS members: Free. Guests of members: $20.
