BHV's Frank Mead introduces our next Movie Group pick, Land for a City on a Hill:

"This brief documentary film is a wonderful visual survey of the Boston waterfront(s) with commentary by Alex Krieger, a friend and prof of urban planning at Harvard’s Grad School of Design. I know you will find it as entertaining as I have; you will learn much about the evolution of our waterfronts from the earliest decades of shipping onward. I guarantee it will make you want to visit many of these sites again and see them in a totally different light.”

This film is also relevant to the program scheduled just after it on April 26 at 5:30 p.m., “Conversations with Bob Mannino,” on Boston Harbor.

Members are encouraged to watch the film prior to joining the conversation. Available to stream for free here.

If you would like to join the Movie Discussion Group, please email info@beaconhillvillage.org to be added to the Zoom distribution list. Members added to this list will receive all biweekly Movie Discussion Group Zoom invitations, and may then choose which meetings they would like to attend. BHV members only. Free.
