The killing of George Floyd brought awareness of police brutality and racism to the forefront of the American landscape.  And it has impacted many people deeply.

Janie Wallace, Murray Frank, and Diana Crane are starting a discussion group on the Black experience and how individually and as members of Beacon Hill Village, we can educate ourselves on all the issues that our Black countrymen face day in and day out and how we can be involved in the solutions. The group plans to meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday each month at 2:00 p.m.

Various media – podcasts; documentaries; movies; books; articles – will be used as the basis for discussions on the Black experience and how we can participate in this epic groundswell to address inequality and race and how it affects all of us.

This group is currently closed, but if you are interested in joining, please contact
