We love our gas lamps and our beautiful trees on Beacon Hill—but the gas leaks from our lamps and streets threaten the trees. Ania Camargo, a Beacon Hill resident and community organizer on climate issues with Mothers Out Front, is leading the search for ways to preserve the unique character of Beacon Hill while transitioning to a healthier and more sustainable future. Join Ania and her recent recruit, BHV member Betsy Peterson, to learn more about gas lamps, gas leaks, and other local impacts of natural gas.

This virtual program is presented with support from Cambridge Trust, and in partnership with King’s Chapel, as part of Beacon Hill Village’s Conversations With… series. Registration required online in advance here or by calling Beacon Hill Village at 617-723-9713. Registrants will receive the Zoom invitation information in advance of the program. Free and open to the public.
