Join BHV members Davida Carvin and MJ Shultz for a group walk along the flourishing landscapes of the Southwest Corridor from its beginning to the “new” police station on Ruggles Street, where we’ll leave the Corridor in order to take a closer look at some of Northeastern’s new buildings. From there we’ll continue on to lunch in the vicinity of the Pru.
Click on http://swcpc.org/history.asp for a good short history of the creation of this linear park. Here is some information from the AIA about the Northeastern University Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Complex
Meet across the street from the Dartmouth Street entrance to Back Bay Train Station at 10:30 a.m. in the area where the trees are. We will wait only 5 minutes. If you’ll be late or absent, please call either the leaders or the office.
Registration is required for BHV members and their guests. Free. Weather permitting. Bring water, wear sun protection and have a mask with you in the event we’re among a large group.
