Join Davida and MJ, with leaders Irene and Anne, for a walk through areas of Cambridge that will surprise you with their beauty, history, and modern dynamism. The range covers an 1815 Bulfinch-designed courthouse to a very newly created neighborhood; we’ll see Bullfinch Square and the Multicultural Arts Center, a river, and a canal - maybe even a duck boat! Lunch is planned at a new cafe in Cambridge Crossing, but if you prefer to order a takeout sandwich from the nearby Tatte (210 Jacobs St., Cambridge), or bring your own brown bag, we will be ending up at a very pleasant outdoor park with ample seating provided. At 10:30 a.m. meet at the Science Park T station, newly reopened on the Green Line to Cambridge. Exit the platform, go through the turnstile, turn right immediately and go down the stairs. We will meet just outside the doors.
We will wait only 10 minutes. If you’ll be late or absent, please call either the leaders or the office.
