The late Leslie Jones was a remarkable and prolific early news photographer whose images captured in crisp detail almost a half century of Boston history. Join David Arnold, BHV member Davida Carvin’s neighbor, and former staff reporter at The Boston Globe, for a tour of a new (first?) photography exhibit of Jones’ work.

David is the curator, designer, and author of the exhibit, and also the son of BHV founder, Dave Arnold, Jr.

This exhibit is not open to the public.

The photographs on view are located on three renovated hallways in their Waterfront condominium complex (all floors are elevator accessible).

After the viewing, there will be wine and cheese reception and discussion on the adjoining Arnold/Carvin outside decks overlooking Boston Harbor. Note that there are a couple of stairs required to access the deck area.

Space is limited. Registration is first come, first served. BHV members only. Free. Masks preferred while indoors and required in common areas of the building. Bring a wrap, jacket, or sweater as the deck might be cool.

Address will be provided in advance via email. Taking the MBTA, Davida's home is closest to the Aquarium stop on the Blue Line, next closest is State St. on the Orange Line (stairs are required), followed by Government Center on the Green line and Haymarket on the Orange/Green lines, which are roughly equidistant.
