Join Walks! leaders Davida and MJ to see the new display of sculptures along Charlestown’s waterfront Harborwalk. Plus, we’ll start out with a ferry ride! The Charlestown ferry runs every half hour from the South dock of Long Wharf opposite Legal Sea Foods. Lunch is planned at a Navy Yard restaurant. If you prefer to head straight home, you can Uber, take a water taxi, or return to the ferry. Read more about one of the sculptures we'll see on our stroll here.
Meet promptly at 10:15 at the Long Wharf South ferry dock between the Marriott and the Aquarium. We need to take the 10:30 a.m. boat so it is imperative that everyone arrive by 10:15. Tickets ($1.85 one-way) are purchased on board. We will wait only 10 minutes. If you’ll be late or absent, please call either the leaders or the office. The restaurant selected for the Sept. Stroll, Style Cafe on Flagship Wharf, is quite small, therefore we encourage registrants to order online for an 11:30 pickup. Those who are unable to do that can order at the cafe. Online ordering is available here:
Registration is required for BHV members and their guests. Free. Weather permitting. It’s summer now - bring water, wear sun protection. At the time of this publication masks are voluntary. Beacon Hill Village, however, will follow city policies in effect at the time of the walk.
