Join Walks! leaders MJ and Irene as we enjoy the delights of others’ labors! The community garden plots of the Fenway Victory Gardens are amazing for their variety and size, their infrastructure - fountains, walls, waterfalls, and their lushness. An experienced community gardener herself, Irene will pick out the best of them all for us to see. Lunch afterwards at Cornwall’s Tavern.

Meet at 10:30 a.m. on the street in front of Tsuru Ton Tan Noodles on Comm Ave. to the left just outside the Kenmore T station. Green Line B, C or D lines stop at Kenmore. As you’re exiting the station follow the signs indicating left toward Commonwealth Avenue. If you’ll be late or absent, please call either leader or the office.

In order to allow more garden appreciation time, we have designed this as a circular stroll beginning and ending in Kenmore Square. Though the distance is shorter, bear in mind that benches are hard to come by in this area.

This walk may be a sunny one - bring water, wear sun protection.
Registration is required for BHV members and their guests. Free. Weather permitting.

Access: This BHV Walks! is a stroll which moves at an easier pace including rest stops. It does involve about one hour of walking with the group.
