Visit to the Icon Museum 

Join members for a visit of this unique museum. Tour the permanent collection, spend some time in the museum on your own, then enjoy lunch before heading back. Our tour  also includes a peek at behind-the-scenes collections and a discussion of recent museum updates by the registrar.

Lunch is provided. Participants will be asked to select their catering option to enjoy at the museum in advance. We expect to return to Boston by 2:30. 

Van* departs Café Tatte, 70 Charles Street, at 10:30 a.m. Please let me know if a pickup elsewhere would be helpful to you. 

About the museum: The Museum of Russian Icons is a non-profit art museum located in Clinton, Massachusetts, United States. The collection includes more than 1,000 Russian icons and related artifacts, making it one of the largest private collections of Russian icons outside of Russia and the largest in North America.

The current special exhibition is Spirituality in Eastern Christianity: Images of a Living Tradition- An exhibition of stunning photographs taken by Alain de Lotbinière during his visits to Eastern Orthodox communities and sites in Northern Macedonia, Serbia, Russia, Turkey, and Egypt.
