The Beacon Hill Village Council is pleased to welcome three new members, according to Frank Mead, Council Chair, and Jan Beaven, Vice Chair.   The Council is composed of individuals who are interested in furthering the mission of BHV by serving as supporters and by providing guidance in their respective fields of expertise.   Members represent a range of professions, government, community service organizations, and local merchants.

In addition to providing advice and support to Beacon Hill Village, they serve as goodwill ambassadors and contribute their expertise on organizational issues such as marketing, fundraising and program development.

Our new Village Council members are:

She is an elected member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, the National Academy of Inventors, and the Connecticut Academy of Science and Engineering, and was recognized as one of the University of Washington’s Wondrous 100.  She continues to serve on a number of non-profit boards, and is a founding member and researcher at N-FOLD LLC, a company focused on developing novel immunotherapeutic strategies designed to alter the immune system’s response to food allergens.
